is it advisable to do step2 ck first before step 1 - rn2md

i have started my prep for step 2 but i haven't taken step 1 yet. i'm not sure if i'm doing the right thing. anyone out there who did/ are doing the same thing?

ya u can alwaz give step-2 b4 staep-1..
but make sure dat some of fundas of step-1 like physio n immunology shud b very clear.....
b coz many abt 10% ques in real xam r directly from step-1 n 30 % ques r based on step-1....
so its better u learn some basic topics from step-1 n give some more time preapring 4 step-2 then usual people take after giving step-1.....

step 1 can be very helpful, but if ur are good with clinical n have a well based step 1 knlowdge u can defintely go for step2ck.
