Double contrast barium q 5 yrs

colonscopy >50 yrs q 10 yrs

DRE(digital rectal exam) age >40 recom. by ACS

eye check 3-4 yrs

audio check 3-4 yrs

cholestrol check if family memeb died b4 45 yr due
tohyperlipidemia..inkids at 3 yrs of age ifno rf then 25 yrs and if normal every 5 yrs

glucose check.....in 45 yrs ofage if no rf and fh..inmen and 50 for woman

28 wk glucose check if preg

fasting glucose more than 126 twice on 1 day apart sample diag dm no need for further testing...

if glucola 50 gm will give u blood sugar more than 140 do 3 hgtt with 100gm glucose if preg and with 75 gm if not preg

at 6wks visit after delivery check 2 h gtt with 75 gm to make sure that gestational diabetes is gone......50% chance tha these ptwill b diabetic in coming yrs..

if ufeel any prostate firm and nodular or if psa is morethan 4.0 send pt to urologist for transrectal biopsy

never put ans u/s or ct whe it comes to testicular mass try to ans send pt to urologit fo transinguinal biopsy..never chooose trans scrotal biopsy
