OK, just remember these key points:
Reaction formation: you do the opposite- that is you hate somebdy but you help him out always, or another example: you hate asian people but you help them at the local city office to teach them english etc, got it ? Altruism: you do something to forget your pain (for example), you were raped as a child, now you set up a voluntary network where you help the raped girls, or you son was killed by a roober, now you campaign for safe neighborhood and help other moms whose children were killed in the same way etc... Sublimation: you do things unacceptable things in acceptable way, you love knife, you live bllod (but if you kill somebody that will be illegal), so you become surgeon (acceptabel to everybody) or as a woman you love to show your body to people, you love to be bare-chest, now you become stripper in a local "strip" club (socially acceptable)... OK ? Clear now ? |
