He is right, u have to put it down as an observership, as u had no malpractice insurance while doing all that stuff

govirala,
dostara mahaththya kohomada govirala une?
Any way we work under the full supervision of a insured doc. so I don't think it is illegal, and I have seen a letter given by a residency program director to a friend of mine mentioning that he did an externship. He didn't have malpractice insurance at that time

you put whatever it is in your CV.... actually, the matter of not having insurance is your bussiness.. it doesn't have to do with what you have done....you must put what you really did...discribe it in your CV.... also, ask the doc to put in the LOR, that he/she observed you in taking history, writing notes and doing exam and bla, bla, bla... and that is it my friend.
And ask him to make a certificate for you too...could be a simple one, but a certificate of attendance!!
I think you should put externship...or observership with hands on experience !!
