I think its precipitation by the logic of exclusion-
It cannot be complement activation, since complement is only active when the serum is fresh. After a day, complement activity would be destroyed.
It cannot be agglutination, because for agglutination antigen antibody reaction there should be soluble form of antigen .
For precipitation it should be particulate form and in question it says, antigen is is in form of particle, therefore it best suites to precipitation
