I know that if I request one from my medical school, all it will say is my name and that I attended that medical school. US dean are very detailed and they give alot of information about that medical student. Should we even submit one if we are IMG?

u r so right about a letter from our dean and a letter from US med school dean.
I hope some posts something for this.

Yeah, IMGs should since programs ask for it anyway. Good thing my school does a good dean's letter complete with graphs and other info. Maybe you can ask your school if you can make your own dean's letter and just have them sign it. I know of one person who did it. Don't really know if she was allowed to do so. Anyway, no harm in trying, right?
