as far as i know hypercalsaemia of hyper parathyroidism cases bone demineralisation

increase Ca2+ cause downregulation of vit. D synthesis in the kidney --> decrease in activation of 25-hydroxycalciferol coming from liver to the active form vit. D which is 1,25 dihydroxycholecalciferol --> instead there will be an increase in formation of the inactive form of vit. D which is 24,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol
