What is counted as a good research experience,i am kinda confused on this.
Will working in a bio-tech or pharmaceutical company as a CRA count as good research exp on your resume while applying for a residency or you have to work in a hospital under a doctor.
I am working in a Clinical research organization in Boston, working in medical imaging departement. My work is to process all the images(CT scans,MRI,X-RAYS) we get from clinical sites for the radiologly to review.
Do you people think that this can be a good research work or no.

if you have to ask if it is "good research", then you've aswered your own question. you're research, in my opinion, is solid work and won't hurt you. however, in program director's minds i'm afraid it won't benefit as much as working in a lab with an attending physician doing clinical trials or basic science research.

Well i am working on clinical trails but the only difference is we get the images of patients who are enrolled in a study and have positive symptoms and currently taking the medication that are in the process of getting approved by FDA.
