I have interviewed at 6 places so far. I have only send out two thank you letters so far. I was wondering how soon should one send out a thank you letter after the interview? How important is the thank you letter anyways? e-mail Vs. snail mail? any suggestion?

I think,its better to send thank you email within 24 hrs.email vs mail.......I am too confusewd about this,But its very important.So plz.send thanks to other programs immediately........

thank you emaiul is a custom and is a must, I mean now a days where as it was snail mail before. Ofcourse u send both email and snailmail/ thank you card to pgrms u r most interested in.
This is specially for u bcoZ I know u do have countless no of IVs....

i was on a long trip and didn't have time to sit down to write each one after my interview. I just send them e-mails last night...some of them i interviewed more than a week ago. Do you think they will think i am rude or not interested?

u'll have plenty of time in april...write thankyou notes then.......
