a 46 y/o farmer comes to see the physician b/c of pain and swelling of his right heel ,he accidentlly stepped on a rusty nail while working 2 w. ago he took acetaminophen and over the counter ATB cream but he still has the pain .on PE his right heel is swollen red warm and tender to t ouch a small puncture wound is visible . lab reports mild leucocytosis ,xrays of right foot shows feature of osteomylitis the most likely cause of the patient symptoms is.
a- beta hemolytic sterp.
b-staph epidermis.
c- clostridium teteni.
d-candida albican.
e- pseudomonas aeroginosa.
