aura is + in GTC
in complex partial seizures aura - in simple partial absence aura in myotonic and atonic ???

when you say aura automatically most neurologists thing complex partial seizures. It's the hallmark; but yes can be seen in myotonic and almost never on atonic nor abscence. And nowadays what people thought as aura is in fact the initial partial seizure when the pt "has the aura" he is already having a seizure.
