retinoblastoma and hemangioblastoma of retina - yeastmito

retinoblastoma is malignant- related to Rb,
hemangioblastoma of retina-- related to VHL, is it benigh or malignant
correct me if I am wrong. Always mix these two.

I dont think haemangioblastoma is malignant but retinoblastoma definitely is

Haemangioblastoma are two types:
1.Arise in the CNS mainly in the cerebellum----purely benign.
2.Associated with hereditary conditions like VHL----malignant.

Von Hippel Tumor (Retinal Hemangioblastoma)
- Is benign (VHL Renal cell Ca it the malignant one)

Retinoblastoma
- Is malignant, but not related to VHL gene mutation.

Hemangiomas (Retina, Brain Stem, Cerebellum, Spinal cord)
are associated with VHL disease and are benign.
