women over 35 years of age are at increased risk of giving birth to a child with Downs syndrome. However, screening programs for mothers over age 35 detect most Downs syndrome pregnancies in women of this age group. iam thinking that fertility bt 35-45 is more than above 45. may be chances of downs is more after 45, more children are born to women above 35..
