MMR possible if cd count is morethan 200,likewise according to cd The reason is hiv damaged the immune system so it willnot respond to vaccine Anybody knows the answer.

All live vaccines are contraindicated in AIDS patients except MMR because the its benefits over the harms

Why polio,varicella,yellow fever,adenovirus and HBV vaccines are not given to AIDS pts?But

I thought you went to bed and fall in dream! Live vaccines can induce humoral and cell mediated immunity but they also can revert to virulence especially in immunocompromised patients, addition they are less effective in these groups of patients. |
