What causes fatty liver? - radman
#1
Can someone explain how fatty liver relates to NADH levels? I am confused...

never mind, I misinterpreted my text. but to clarify, is it because in alcohol consumption, NADH levels increase causing gluconeogenesis to be inhibited because pyruvate and OAA are shunted to lactate and malate, respectively. This causes fatty liver because of increased fatty acid oxidation. anyone want to add to this or correct me?
