¢ Drake International is working on behalf of the EQAO (Education Quality and Accountability Office) to provide test scorers for The Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test (OSSLT).
¢ SESSION HOURS: Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
¢ LUNCH: Is available for purchase on site, cash only weekly ticket purchase.
¢ SESSION DATES: Monday, April 7th to Friday, April 18th
¢ PAY DATE: Pay will be deposited on or before May 16, 2008 for all work completed, mileage and other expenses as applicable
¢ LOCATION: Toronto Congress Centre, 650 Dixon Road (Just west of Martin Grove on the North side of Dixon). Accessible by TTC (it is not a double fare). From Kipling Station take the #46 Martin Grove north to Dixon and walk west one block. From Lawrence West Station take #58 Malton/Dixon bus to the front door. By GO Transit, from York Mills and Yorkdale Stations bus leaves every 30 minutes. Parking is free at the Toronto Congress Centre. Please follow the signs for EQAO Marking.
¢ DRAKE INTERNATIONAL IS YOUR EMPLOYER. The following deductions will be reflected on your pay: Income Tax, CPP & EI. In addition to your hourly rate you will receive 4% percent Vacation Pay. Drake will provide T4™s by mail during February 2009 and Records of Employment will be issued upon request only. The daily rate of pay is $144.23 plus $5.77 vacation pay ($150.00 including vacation pay). A statement is mailed to your home reflecting this transaction. TD1 forms are available for those wishing to adjust income tax levels.
¢ TRAVEL ALLOWANCE: You will receive a travel allowance of $0.40 per km. This amount is calculated based on your home postal code in relation to the Toronto Congress Centre™s postal code and will be included in your payroll deposit.
¢ IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
¢ You must be able to attend all days of the project however there is no guarantee of the length of the assignment.
¢ You must bring one piece of Photo Identification with you on the first day of your assignment.
¢ The marking site is secure. You must check all coats, back packs, sports bags, brief cases, umbrellas, newspapers and any food or beverages (with the exception of bottled water). Security guards are posted at each entrance to enforce EQAO™s access policy.
¢ Training will occur during the first two days of the project. A test will be administered to determine marking ability. A minimum score is required in order to participate as a marker. Those not meeting this minimum score will be dismissed.
¢ The temperature can fluctuate in this building. Please dress accordingly.
