What is the best way to differentiate between amylodosis with Hemochormatosis, in this scenario? What would you expect in history?

i think in amyloidosis you will have brain involvement too, thus focal deficits may be seen (guess)

I am not sure but I think amylodosis will have early onset rather than middle age. Please keep adding on...

Amyloidosis has renal, and CNS involvement( not seen in hemochromatosis)
Specific amyloids
Alzheimer's disease (Aβ 39-43), Parkinson's disease (alpha-synuclein), Huntington's disease (huntingtin protein)

It can also result in interseting things like
carpal tunnel syndrome
enlaged tongue
cardiac arrythmia

shess you are right too because if one has systemic amyloidosis, mean survival is 14 mos from time of diagnosis
