wat is the Rx of a pt presenting with confusion, Na 108, n hypotensive??

is it hypertonic saline coz the hyponatraemia is severe n the pt is symptomatic??/


or is it n. saline coz the pt is hypotensive??/

calculated as ( desired Na - present Na ) x pts wt x 0.6

but uw says that all hypotensive pts shud be rx with n. saline????
