hi...well i dunno abt y people dont take exams at other centres..i had mine scheduled at atlanta on 27th jan..but then at chicago there was a opening for 27th which i picked up coz its closer to where I live...well im not from new delhi but from amritsar , just did a non academic JR ship at MAMC..but stayed most of the time at AIIMS coz it was easier for me to stay there as one of my friends was there. i know visa scene is bad but when i went for visa interview wat i noted was that lot of people were being rejected coz of their lack of confidence..just be confident during ur visa interview n tell them that yeah u would come back after residency..lol basically ur ties to ur home country like property..if u own a nursing home or stuff..or otherwise lot of my friends have come here on student visa after taking GRE for which embassy gives u visa easily coz u r spending money in usa by getting admission in some university..well im taking mine on 27th jan..dunno if thats enough time after my step 2 or not but believe me im getting sick of studying..lol..well if u have any more quesries feel free to ask me..good luck
