For guaifensin..dont know exact pharmacology. this is what i found..Guaifenesin is thought to act as an expectorant by increasing the volume and reducing the viscosity of secretions in the trachea and bronchi. Thus, it may increase the efficiency of the cough reflex and facilitate removal of the secretions. And in Di george is T cell problem..but i think its decreased as sometimes its give in IV form..and may not be dec..
