depends on the reason u were fired...and the time u spent in residency before...usually insurance will accept to fund a resident in residency for a maximum of 4 years, if u have spent more than one year before, your chances are slim, as no one will take the risk to hire u, and end up paying your salary from the hospital balance (vs insurance). if u have good CV, but was fired from poor hospital, less than one year spent, u will be in better situation, but make sure to egt good LOR from the previoous program, this will be helpfull to answer many questions about ur past experience.

I know 2 people I am not sure they were fired or quitted. They said they quitted.

One of them got in another program 2 year after that situation.

Another one is still looking for a PGY-1 position again. It passed 5 years already.

Nobody tells you the right situation. How can we know why?
