Hello doctors, I did not get the position yet , still waiting. I will post here in stead of mailing individually. I searched for volunteer jobs, in universities that has residency program. I contacted them and told them about my interest, They said research position is tough to get as they have their own Medical students to volunteer, but still encouraged me to submit my CV, so I did, and the research coordinator mailed me to to do a CITI course, as a requirement for volunteering in research. Thats it now waiting for the call.

how did you do the citi course without the backing of the instituion?
i thought you had to be an active employee to register for the course?

well the research coordinator asked me to do it,He mailed me and also the website. Before that all formalities(for working as volunteer) were done , I had even taken photo for id batch, probably its ready by now.So I had to under go, medical checkup, background check up etc etc.Before the Id batch. So looks like I am already affiliated to the university.

so everybody who is going to do a volunteer research has to go through all this?
