I am an Img from India, have applied for the july 2006 Ophthalmology match .
step 1 in august
step 2 in september.

when should i take step2 CS,
any one applying for the same?

as far as i can remember, in order to participate for the ophtha match u have to pass all your exams and apply earlier in the match...anyway specialties like neurology, urology, ophtha they have an earlier matching program compared to other specialties so its crucial that u submit your applications early so you can get more interviews.... ophtha is a very competitive specialty with more than 80% of matched students being AMG's... u have to have stellar grades, good LOR's from US docs, research exp... and USCE.... so study hard and nothing is impossible.... u can do it... best wishes...
