hi. I've been informed that it'll take 2 more weeks until I get my ECFMG certification. The ERAS postoffice has opened and I want to submit my CAF. Is it better to wait until I get my ECFMG certification before submitting my CAF or just go ahead and submit my CAF now?

Once you submit the CAF, the information on it cannot be changed. Is that the same case with My Profile? Can I change the ECMG certification details later on after I submit my application?

If the programs you are applying to require cert. at the time of application, then wait. See how many programs you loose if you submit your application now.
On the other hand being cert. make you stronger applicant. But wait, you can indicate in your application that you have passed all your steps, so in this case, in my opinion, it does not really matter if you have your cert in hand or not, you can submit your CAF. You can explain your situation in your PS as well. Get more opinions before u decide. Good luck!
