Apply to almost all programs in New York area because they are IMG friendly.

old grad year 1991,
step1 99/239,dec 2007
cs pass,mar 2008
6 yr work experience in my home country
rest of the yrs worked as comp programmer
6 month observership in peds in US(I dont want peds,its just only there i got observership)

my q,I am preparing for ck,should I apply this yr sep08 or better to do ck and then step3 and apply sep09.
plz do reply,an old grad like me need info.
