Psoas Sign - is obtained by the iliopsoas test, indicates any kind of a pain occurring at the iliopsoas group of abdominal hip flexors. The iliopsoas test is done by the inactive elongation of the patientâ„¢s thigh by stretching his knees. In this test the patient has to be positioned on the left side of his or her body and his or her right leg has to be stretched at the back of the patient. If the patient experiences abdominal pain he or she shows affirmative result of the Psoas Sign.

Rosving's sign - considered positive if the patient experiences RLQ pain as you apply LLQ pressure - suggests appendicitis

obturator sign - considered positive if the patient experiences RLQ pain while you flex the hip and knee and internally rotate the leg - suggests appendicitis.
