pt & ptt both will be prolonged in liver disease & vit k deff ( due to mal absorption , antibiotics or dietry deff) pt is first elevated then ptt to diff between both is to give vit k if improves is due to vit k deff if liver is te cause then manage as said by vanco

Dear:
FFP only in emergencies ( sirious bleeding) FFP has a lot of problems,
the Patient is assymptomatic so you gave him Vit K and check Pt every 2wks or less
in DIC : the pt in a real distress plus all Coagu Factors are deplited
