There's no need to buy a special player.
Go to download.com and look for a free m4a file converter or audio converter so you can pass them to mp3 format or any other audio format so you can use it in any player you have, your car, etc.

look for : "how to converto from .m4a to .mp3 format" you'll find some stuff.

Now if you want to spend your money anyway, that's ipod format and some cellphones/walkman format.
