Is it too late to apply by middle of next week ? - crazycool6

Hello all,

I am ECFMG certified (both 85, in first attempt), have several publications, have a Masters and am on a student visa (need H-1). I am planning to apply for Pathology. My letters of recommendation are not ready and will be so only by the end of this week. Is it too late to apply by next week ?

Please help m,e !! I am stressing out !!!!

Each day counts but whats the fun in applying with an incomplete application...

thanks for your input 1cashie... I have heard of stories of people saying a lot of programs are first come first served. Is that true ? any other input, guys ?

People do match applying in nov-dec too. Don't get stressed, do what you need to do ,get your letters fast and apply.

most program don't review the applicant's file until October. don't worry.

no man , dont spend your money in a useless track.
my advice ...... complete the pllication then apply. dont spend useless money ....
once they do the primary screening andf you have no letters of recommendation they will not remember to recheck your application.
trust me there are programs that recive 1500-2000 application

15,000 IMG applying this yr....so Good luck Average Applications per program nearly 5000...Smile
