_ Hi vanco, I think For Adult: 2y, Kids : 5y with Penicillin V ( if allergic to penicillin V --> alternated drug is Erythromycin).

_ But look at the post by Sammy08, It is recommended for life long.

monthly penicilline prophylaxis should be given to all children upto age 18 years. For adults vaccination is preferred over monthly penicilline, especially with meningococcal, influenza type B, and pneumococcal vaccines.

How about yearly influenza viral vaccine???????
