ir presented as an old man with fever and chills following TRUS and serum Na 135 mg
i.e urosepsis plus hyponatremia

thanks radiocool....ok for hyponatremia in this case due to fluid irrigation during turp i suppose, should we correct it with 0.9% Nacl ?
For urosepsis ( elderly here) should we treat with the usual meds with 7 day duration?

I gave him normal saline
ampicillin plus gentamycin
and he did well
