J1 is exchange visitor, u go back to ur country after ur residency or aply for waiver and work in rural area. , which is difficult now a days,Though J1 is easy to get and fellowships chances are more.
H1 is dual intent visa.You can get married and apply for GC.Its limt is for 6 years. Fellowship are relatively tough to get. H1 is better for short duration courses and J1 is better for surgery course but whole concept is subjective. GL |
