Can someone please explain to me how HYDROXOCOBALAMIN helps with cyanide toxicity? Thank you!!

I think its because hydroxycobalamin reacts with free toxic cyanide group forming Cyanocobalamin there fore reducing its toxicity....remember that cyanocobalamin is frequently used iv drug for treatment of B12 deficiency and it is non toxic....
