its 2.schizophrenia does not mean sever psychosis.all pt does not have psychosis.they r competent.so they have right to knw risk n benefit.

for any surgery informed consent is to be taken. so, severe psychosis is an absolute CI to this. he must understand the risks and the benefits of the surgery to give consent. so, ans is 2.
