steventailor....no...you needs to have step 1, step 2ck, and step 2cs in order to be eligible for an ECFMG certificate...the ECFMG certificate is mandatory to being residency for IMGs

Thats great news Havanaangela & tracemle!

Can u guys pls help me out? I failed in CS (in data gathering part) and this is the 1st USMLE step I took. After this failure, I lost all hope & felt so bad that I went into depression as I was told that my chances are almost over with this failed attempt. Nowafter many months, I regained my composure a bit & listening to inspiring stories like urs is only helping me more in this aspect.

I just want to what chances I might have in my situation. So, can u pls tell me more about ur match experience? I mean, about ur scores, US LORs, interviews,etc. If u don't want to share them in a public forum like this, I will be grateful, if u can mail me at drasty.81
