Could anyone please give an good explanation about V/Q mismatch:

In Apex of lung: PA>Pa>Pv
In middle zone of lung: Pa>PA>Pv
In base zone of lung: Pa>Pv>PA

Please give the diffination of PA, Pa and Pv.
