Suggestion pls - noan

hi all,

I need suggestion regarding my prospects of residency. I am old IMG graduate of 5yrs. I have mid 80 scores with an attempt on step 1. I have 3 attempts on my step 3. I have 15 months of US clinical experience and 1 yr clinical research. I need a visa. Is there any chance of me getting into residency either into IM or FM. Any frank opinion or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Anything is possible. Excellent LORs about your communication skill, clinical judgement and hands on capability will certainly help ( in related field will be better). Some publications will also help too. Don't forget to prepare on how to explain your attempts when you go to interviews. Last but not least apply to as many program as you can ( the ones that fit in for you).
