Did anyone with Low scores or attempts, get a match this year in Prelim Sugery??

Yes....but try preliminary positions since the categorical ones are highly competitive.In fact this years many preliminary places were empty.One of my friend with low scores got into Presbyterian NY.....cornell campus.

I only scored 75 on both step I and II but I got into neurosurgery at MGH. Good Luck!

im working in neurosurgery(uk), congrats for getting into NS res
i heard NS is very competitive ,its almost impossible for fmgs
do u have any NS experience/usce
im taking step1 in 2 weeks
pls suggest me how to get into NS

I did 2 years of research with L Dade Lunsford at University of Pittsburgh and got good reference letters from him and others. My board scores weren't stellar but I do think with excellent recommendation letters you still have a shot doing neurosugery here in US. Good Luck!

Does anybody know of any good and safe areas around Mercy hospital Pitts where I could possibly buy a condo or house? Any help will be very appreciated. I dont know around there at all. Thanks
