dka more in type 1 dm
honk in type 2 dm t/t kind of similar but in dka focus more on ketonemia and ketonurea less in honk

fundamentally in DKA tx is insulin and in HONK its iv fluids
there are differences in mgmt but overall its pretty similar

also in dka hyperglycemia is very high range as compare to honk hyperglycemia is not high
