D and C (even though I chose B and C on my NBME)

uw said clear what situation should give SC or IV. he is unstable, definitely needs IV, between the 2 questions, we know that IV epinephrine already given (that one important reason for the IV line setup). they asked us after ten mins, nothing improve, then we give epine again, but no IV choice, so take SC instead

If only IV access given for first question, how is pt going to improve in 10 mins..?? Makes no sense there.

everything is important, but here Question maker asks what the most important first step in anaphylaxis is. Obviously it is epinepherine injections. It only takes one second, but can save life. here IVA and Oxygen are not first thing to do, if patient can still breath and blood pressure is not very low. Actually, after epinephrine, breath and blood pressure may improve..
