Hi aajkal,
How are you? I did my CS in Atlanta in early March. There were about 3 IMGs and about 20 AMGs in my group. Everyone was very friendly, and the center was run very efficiently.
It was a bit strange being one of the few IMGs there, but I'm sure that will be the same at all the centers. I think they routinely do 12 patient encounters at Atlanta, so it is a looong day.
I thought that USMLEWorld alone plus practice was ample preparation (I'm still waiting for the results so I don't want to count my chickens before they hatch...).
My general impression is that CS preparation can require from as little as 1-2 weeks preparation to months of study, depending on your confidence in speaking and writing English, general history taking & examination skills and previous exposure to this style of examination.
