asymptomatic infection
infectious mononucleosis

the former being mild and the latter associated with lymphadenopathy
hepatosplenomegaly
and abnormal lymphocytes

both are self limiting

chronicity is due to latent infection.
if associated with malaria ---risk of burkitt lymphoma
or in China --- nasopharyngeal carcinoma
