Preparing for Step 1 -

Hi I am preparing for step 1, is it enough if i can get the kaplan materials and study at home or is a classroom course essential?

Jay, Materials are very specific to the Classroom lectures. So you might find it a bit difficult to understand certain concepts. It is better you enrol for a classroom course. My 2 cents! Cheers

i dont think you need to enroll the materials are not hard to understand you could just get the live licture cd which alot of people sales for like $10 or something and you will be fine its not worth it to spend $3000 believe me if you serious in your studying you dont need to go their and i could prove it to you , any one went to kaplan like me could tell you that the only tapes are good are the physiology and the biochemistry and may be the immunology but the other people are less than avarage they reading through the notes which you could do yourself. the pathology is forget it he is dumb i never saw someone like this in all my entire life i did not waste my time watching his tapes,the pharmacology is avarage he is reading through. The bottom line is SAVE your money its not worth it. good luck |
