How does the immune system detects malaria ?

A) plasmodium enters the cell, then by routine internal degradation particles get loaded on MHC1

B) endocytosis then processing in endosomes and then to MHC 1 ?

I dont know., i didnt have an answer, some of my friends said BBB as well, what ado you think? First of all i thought of A, and then, i thought that since Red blood cells doesnt have a nucleus then there is no MHC1 on it, so the question is plasmodium an extracellular organism always (with teh exception of RBC) or is it intracellular?

the immune response to malaria is complex.
the response is mainly mounted when the rbc ruptures relasing parasites into blood and spiking fever. macrophages and other apcs present to th cells on class 2.
malaria is a successful pathogen coz it is intracellular.
as we all know. there is no limit to the number of times we can be infected with malaria.
but resistance to superinfection does occur ie. if you are currently infected with malaria you cannot be superinfected simultaneously with another strain.
