hi guys....i was also under the impression that if paid then work or else it would be volunteer...

however, i just called up ecfmg...n asked them this q...on describing the externship n observership experience...they said both should go under "Work" as they r clin exp........

It won't matter.
They know what observation is whether you write it under Work or Volunteer

I will put it under Volunteer btw, it is certainly not work experience.

Whatelse did you do but observe over the shoulder??? otherwise you are against the regulation, aren't you?

work implies you were paid for the work that you did...

if you do end up putting observership and externship under "work" title, it wont make a difference

because the people interviewing you KNOW that you werent paid for those observerships.

It will just portray a disorganized CAF.

Dates, job titles, job descriptions, properly formatted and easily viewable information always is to your benefit.

i did speak with someone at ecfmg...she actually said to put it under volunteer.



like i said, it really doesnt matter.
