Can we apply to Texas programs? Are we eligible for Texas training permit? No chiense medical school is in their list. Check the site:

Getting training permit is not a big problem, but for lisence, quite a problem.

I heard that there are quite problems for chinese get TExas license. Not sure whether it is a rumor or not. Hope anybody here having close friends having got license in TX W/o problem to show us some hope.

I asked my friend who graduated in June in Texas about what kind of trouble we may encounter. He answered:

我的已经拿到了。Temorary的7月2号就拿到了。比预期快了很多。只要早动手，一直盯着，还是可以很快拿到的。但是手续繁琐，价钱昂贵，还要再考个法律的试。不过，这是TORT reform的州，生活费也便宜，没有州税。大家还是都愿意来。

Translation: You have to start applying for Texas license early and keep tracking of it. Tons of paper work, and costly. You have to pass a test regarding some laws.

nicelife, you don't need "lisence" in any state, you can get lisence after residency.

For resicney application and matching, no problem at all.
I was in that category. Feell free to apply in texas.
