Hi norwalk, in 17 OH deficiency, the week glucocorticoid level increased, due to the feed back of ACTH (cortisol decrease, hence ACTH increases). It is this increased weak glucocorticoid that keeps the BP high. So the renin-angiotensin system is pretty much shut down. Aldoserone decreases.
Same thing happens in 11 OH deficiency. Only 21 OH deficiency gives rise to hypotension.

in 17 oh defi ,increase in mineralo produce BP ,when bp increase, renin decreases ,there fore angiotensin and aldosterone decreases, bcoz aldosterone is maitained by angiotensin 2

aldosterone reg by renin
gluccocorticoids and adrenal sex hormone by ACTH
when 17 alpha OH def then gluccocorticoid and mineralocorticoid(deoxy corticosterone) activity increase ,increase in BP,
so dec renin sEcretion so dec aldosterone
