C. Myocardial ischaemia
D. myocardial infarction

i had the concept that ST elevation is only in MI and prinzmetzils angina

ischemia=angina=narrow vessel=low blood supply
infarction=obstructed blood vessel=absent bld supply

subendocardial ischemia --st seg depression
transmural ischemia--no clue

subenddocardial infarction-- deep T inversion
transmural infarction--ST elevation

hope it helps

There is no difference on EKG in case of subendocardial ischaemia (UNSTABLE ANGINA) & subendocardial infarct (NSTEMI). By the time the enzymes will raise (will tell the two apart, though), it will be too late. You can't wait for Q wave to develop as it will not develop. Treat unstable angina like MI, Don't wait.

Transmural Ischaemia is due to coronary artery spasm (variant angina). episodic. EKG st elevation, no Q wave yet. Treat with ca channel blockers.

Transmural Infarct st elevation & Q wave develop (dif between Ischaemia & Infarction)=Aggressive treatment.
