hi,
i know it is not a good time to ask this question as everyone is busy with iv and prematch.
but any one please post an honest reply, would really appreciate---
sometime back i got a paid job as a research assitant in psychiatry. i really needed a job and as i got the offer , i took it.
well, now my question is this-- i am really not very interested in pursuing residency in psychiatry. what can i do along with this job to " may be" improve my chances of getting an iv next yr in family medicine. does some one know of any hospital or a free clinic in newyork were i can volunteer on weekend. my job is full time. and i can not leave it now as i am the only earning member of the family right now.
by the way , i am an old grad and have only passing scores on all steps( can not improve them now) but no attempts.
please guys, any reply would be really appreciated.
thanks in advance.
