A 31 y. man receives medication to reverse the effect of a neuromuscular blocking drug .2 min. later he has a decrease in heart rate to 28/min. .Which of the following drugs used to reverse the neuromuscular blockade in this patient..

Right answer: 1

1-Anticholinesterse and muscarinig drugs in combi.

2-Anticholinesterase only

Why do I have to add the muscaring drug to reverse the blocking drug?

I think it is anticholinesterase i.e neostigmine

to reverse the competitive inhibiton..

BTW sunshine Plz mention if the question is from NMBE since many of us have not solved en yet...well u do that most of the time but reminding u..coz most of them seem to be from nmbe n u did not mention it.
